Rich Beyer, your local Jacksonville Brothers Gutters owner has a passion for leading team members in striving for excellence and to consistently deliver top-notch quality and customer service. Rich grew up in Tokyo, Japan for 14 years of his life and speaks fluent Japanese. He started his career as a U.S. Army Infantry Officer and earned the coveter distinction of becoming a U.S. Army Ranger. Rich served in Korea and at the Old Guard in Ft. Myer, Virginia where he led the Honor Guard and Drill Team in ceremonies throughout the country and aboard.

Following his career in the Army, Rich was a COO for three small companies and acquired 10 years of experience with Fortune 500 leaders of the industry in senior-level operations and sales management positions. As of 2017, Rich decided to leave Corporate America and become a franchise consultant. His time as a consultant and the years prior, were spent studying the industry of franchising. Over that time, he represented over 400 franchises and became a member of IFPG. “I learned about The Brothers that just do Gutters through IFPG,” said Rich “I actually had referred a few candidates to their brand, and I spoke with Ken Parsons many times.”

Rich’s ultimate goal always was to own and operate a franchise business of his own, while also being a Franchise Consultant. “As you get older in life you want to live that dream; buy that business,” he said, “I had looked at smaller businesses, as well as existing businesses, and I even looked into starting my own, but, I like franchises because it’s proven.”

After dealing with and referring The Brothers Gutters brand several times, among many other franchise models, he realized something. “What I learned during my time as a Franchise Consultant, was that The Brothers that just do Gutters had something a little different than everyone else,” he said. What really intrigued Rich about The Brothers Gutters brand was the owners themselves – Ken and Ryan, the company culture that they have created franchise wide, and the technologically advanced support that is a part of their business system.

“The marketing and scheduling support here is so important,” said Rich, “Most franchises do offer a lot of great marketing and support. But, what ends up happening is you’re sending out direct mail and you are the one sending out the mail, you are the one that has to answer the calls, you are scheduling the estimate, you are doing the estimate, and then you are also following up. The Brothers Gutters process cuts about half of that out. Additionally, their marketing is primarily digital which is appealing and important.”

He also understands the importance of joining a business that services a need, not a want. “I live in a home in Jacksonville, FL that doesn’t have gutters, and I know there are a lot of other homes here that need gutters,” he said.
